Research/Areas of Interest:
My research focuses on characterizing the virulence-causing factors of Clostridioides difficile. CdtR is an important regulator for C. difficile toxin production and is essential for C. difficile virulence. I aim to understand the mechanisms of how CdtR regulates toxins and develop therapeutic options by targeting CdtR.
